Malaysia Premium Visa Relocation
Starting from October 1st, 2022, Malaysia welcomes applications from affluent foreigners to participate in the Premium Visa Programme (PVIP), a “Residency Through Investment” concept that allows foreigners to invest and reside in Malaysia for 20 years, with an option to extend for another 20 years thereafter.
About
The Malaysia Premium Visa Program (PVIP) aims to allure affluent individuals to invest and settle in the country for a maximum duration of 20 years. PVIP holders are also granted opportunities for education and can acquire residential or commercial properties.
Requirements
- Investment
- Principal applicants must initially deposit RM 1,000,000 into a local fixed deposit account, with no withdrawals permitted on the principal amount during the first year. Subsequently, applicants may withdraw up to 50% of the principal value after the initial year.
- Proof of Foreign Income
- Principal applicants must demonstrate offshore income of at least RM 40,000 per month or RM 480,000 annually.
- Letter of Good Conduct
- Principal applicants must provide a Letter of Good Conduct from their current country of residence.
- Medical
- All applicants and their dependents must submit a medical report from a private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia, along with proof of valid local medical insurance coverage.
- Participation Fee
- Principal applicants must pay a one-time RM 200,000 participation fee, with an additional one-time RM 100,000 fee per dependent.

Step 4: Submission
PVIP Agent To Submit Formal Application To IDM For Approval (Estimated Time Of 60 Working Days To Obtain Conditional Approval)
Step 5: Approval
Principal Applicant Make Payment Of The Participation Fee(s) and will need to travel to Malaysia to submit the Supplementary Documents: a) Proof of Fixed Deposit Of RM 1,000,000; b) Medical Check-Up Report; and c) Proof Of Malaysian Medical Insurance
Step 6: Collection
Principal Applicant To Present Valid Passport For PVIP Visa Collection
